CHRISTMAS CRAFT D.I.Y: "Oh Christmas Wreath, Oh Christmas Wreath"

So I've decided to get into the spirit of Christmas and get all crafty! A couple of branches on one of our olive trees were getting caught in the hill hoist when I spin it around...to hang out washing NOT to play the wheel of goon- Ahem! I decided to use the larger one for our Christmas tree this year and the other to make a wreath for our door.
This is a super simple and pretty quick Christmas craft that you can do with the kid(s). It took all of 10 minutes to make, EASY!
Now I'm not encouraging y'all to go out and hack off a branch from a beloved tree. But if you have a healthy looking one in your yard that looks like it can spare a branch then snip away. Otherwise keep your eyes peeled when you're out and about for branches that have fallen on the ground, you might be able to forage for a branch if you don't have one at home, otherwise a pile of bendy sticks would work well for this project too!

D.I.Y CHRISTMAS WREATH

Materials needed:
Branch approx. 120-150cm
String- cut a few pieces approx 15cm long
Christmas decorations
Ribbon

Give the branch a gentle shake to inform any insects that they need to relocate!

Lay your branch on the ground and place one of your hands on the base of the branch and the other about three quarters of the way up.

Bend the branch so you form a circle and tie some string firmly around the join.

Wrap the smaller branches that are sticking out around the circle branch, intertwining them so they stay in place.

Tie some Christmas baubles or other Christmas decorations on the wreath

I finished mine off with a bow. Now it's ready to hang.
Merry Christmas!
